According to several incubators and accelerators, they have now realized that the success of those they allow in or invest in is heavily weighted on the personality of the entrepreneur.
Personality of course is certainly greatly influenced by DNA. So do you have the DNA to succeed in real estate investing or should you quit and go find a day job?

Entrepreneurial intelligence is a combination of street smarts and I.Q. Book smarts are great, but you’ve got to be able to handle yourself on the corner too and be ready to roll with the punches and take action.
3. Attitude
Surprisingly, this doesn’t have to mean being an overly confident, extrovert or eternal optimist. Both might be helpful, but those who have watched dozens of startups succeed or fail recognize a better balance in somewhere in the middle where optimism meet humility and forges a positive attitude with realistic expectations.
4. Leadership
Those you inspire to be like or whose success you want to enjoy are great leaders, right? So to win in real estate investing you need to be a leader too. Differentiate this from having to be a good manager. You can hire a manager, but you can’t hire a leader.
5. Willingness to Learn
Success in real estate investing like any other industry is certainly dependent on knowledge and research to a great degree. You aren’t born with this, but you do need to have the drive to be networking, investing in building your real estate education and a willingness to accept mentoring if you want to hit all of those goals.
