Than Merrill is the co-founder of CT Homes, LLC a residential real estate development company founded in 2004 in New Haven, CT. Over the past 18 years the company has specialized in acquiring, developing, and re-selling distressed real estate. The company has acquired over 1,000+ properties since inception. Throughout the year the company currently has between 25 and 40 ongoing real estate development projects.
Equity Street Capital
Than Merrill also has a separate commercial real estate investment company, Equity Street Capital. With this company Than and his team focus on investing in income producing commercial property throughout the United States. Their commercial investments include apartment communities, retail properties, and office buildings. The company is focused on achieving attractive risk-adjusted returns while maximizing long-term capital appreciation. The company has acquired over $300 million dollars in commercial real estate in the last two years alone.
Than Merrill also founded FortuneBuilders Inc., one of the largest and most trusted real estate educational companies in the country. Merrill founded FortuneBuilders with the idea of sharing his knowledge and passion for real estate with other aspiring real estate investors.
